Rationale: The lesson for Clinical Practice Evaluation #4 will be a 5th grade math instruction on conversion. The teacher candidate will teach the scholars how to use whole number multiplication to express equivalent measurements. During the observation, the InTASC model core teaching standards will be assessed. In addition, the candidate’s professional dispositions of learners will be evaluated. This includes candidate values, commitments, and professional ethics which influence behaviors toward students, their families, colleagues, and the community. These positive behaviors ultimately affect student motivation, learning and development as well as the teacher candidate’s own growth professionally.
